Pipestone Oil Corp. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Canadian Non-Operated Resources LP, a Calgary based oil and gas investment fund, which is run by a team of experienced operating, technical, and financial professionals at Grafton Asset Management Inc. Grafton Asset Management Inc. is a Calgary-based asset manager focused on investing across the capital structure of top-tier Canadian energy companies.
Mr. Wanklyn is the Chief Executive Officer of Pipestone Oil Corp. and a Senior Partner at Grafton Asset Management. He has more than 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Previously, he co-founded and was CEO of privately funded Temple Exploration Inc. in 2001, which grew to 4,500 boepd prior to a sale to Husky Energy in 2004 at 6.5 times original investment. His team immediately started Temple Energy in 2004 which merged with Cequence Energy in 2010 where Mr. Wanklyn remained as President and CEO until March 2016. Mr. Wanklyn sits on the Advisory Board of the University of Calgary, Hotchkiss Brain Institute. He is a Director of private Connaught Energy, operating in the onshore United Kingdom, and was a past-Director of the Exploration and Producers Association of Canada. Mr. Wanklyn received an MSc. in Geology from the University of Colorado in 1985 and a B.Comm from the University of Alberta in 1981.
Mr. Simpson is the VP Production for Pipestone Oil Corp. and is responsible ensuring operational excellence in the Pipestone asset. Mr. Simpson is also a VP Production/Operations for Grafton Asset Management and leads the tracking and reporting of all production, operating expenses and capital costs for Grafton managed oil and gas partnerships. Mr. Simpson has over 30 years of experience in various industry roles. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Simpson was the Vice President, Production of Daylight Energy Ltd. Mr. Simpson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology and is also a member of both APEGA and SPE.
Mr. Allen is the VP Geosciences for Pipestone Oil Corp. and is responsible for the execution of Pipestone’s geophysical and geological activities. Mr. Allen is also the VP Geosciences for Grafton Asset Management. Mr. Allen was previously the Vice President, Exploration at Pengrowth Energy Corporation and held senior positions at a number of other intermediate and junior E&P companies. He has over 30 years of experience in oil & gas exploration, development, and acquisitions. Mr. Allen holds a Master of Science in Geological Studies from the University of British Columbia and is also a member of APEGBC, APEGS, APEGA, CSPG, AAPG, SPE.
Ms. Campion is the Manager Exploitation for Pipestone Oil Corp. Her responsibilities include exploitation and production engineering, reserves & economic evaluations, M&A analysis, and making recommendations for execution of capital and operating budgets. Ms. Campion is also the Manager Exploitation for Grafton Asset Management. Ms. Campion is a Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience. Ms. Campion holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree with a major in Environmental Systems Engineering from the University of Regina and a Master of Science degree from the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Calgary. She is a member of APEGA.
Mr. Klimuk is the Controller of Pipestone Oil Corp. and is responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting functions. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Klimuk held various finance roles at Talisman Energy Inc., Deloitte & Touche LLP, Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. and MFC Energy Corp. Mr. Klimuk holds two Applied Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration and Business & Entrepreneurship, both from Mount Royal University of Calgary and is a Chartered Accountant of Alberta.
Ms. Vickers is Investor Relations for Pipestone Oil Corp. She is also Investor Relations for Grafton Asset Management and is responsible for managing internal communications and executive communications. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in Public Relations for Summit Learning Systems, a corporate sales and service training program. Ms. Vickers holds a degree from Brigham Young University.
